Transformers usually contain cooling oil which again may contain the compound PCB (Poly-Chlorinated Biphenyl) which is very harmful to the environment. <BR><BR>In case of uncontrolled processing/recycling the risk of spreading the PCB in our surroundings is strongly increased. This scenario could never take place at Hals Metalsmelteri A/S as our plants are mounted with afterburner and effective filters and all we do is carried out with special environmental considerations. <BR><BR>We have a very positive dialogue with the environmental authorities and we already introduced eco-management in the entire company a long time ago, and as a natural consequence of our environmental efforts we have achieved certification in accordance with DS/EN ISO 14001.<BR><BR><BR></P></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE><BR><BR><BR><BR></p> </body>
